So long, but not goodbye...

I have something to tell all of my readers,
although I am not completely sure of the right words.

Not wanting to be the bearer of bad news

Sometimes in life, good things have to come to an end to allow other good and great things to flourish. Today is one of those days, as it is my last full day of work at The Country Veterinary Hospital. My time here has been incredible, and the absolute best 3 months of my little life. The staff here is my family, and they have watched me grow up...

From a wee little pup...

...Through numerous temper tantrums...

...And even the awkward stages...

And I love them more than I will ever be able to say.

I will miss barking at inopportune times, tearing up the bathroom rug, begging for food, greeting all the clients, running away, and
above all,
I will miss all the snugly cuddles most!

Dr. Jessica McCaskill and Melissa simply have the best arms, and lap a puppy could ask for!

And so marks a new beginning, but certainly not an end. I will be back to visit often, and am proud that I will always have The Country Veterinary Hospital to take care of all my health and wellness needs!

Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you
Until we meet again!

On a brighter note, while I may no longer be a hard-working puppy, I will certainly be up-to-no-good, so be sure to keep an eye on all my adventures here.

LeRoi, Working Puppy VOTES!

TODAY is ELECTION DAY!!!

SO EXCITED!

And... I am going to VOTE! As a proud American puppy it is my responsibility to cast my vote in favor of the candidate I think will be able to serve my amazing country best! We have to protect the interests and freedom of American citizens! But who to pick? Admittedly, I was just a wee little thing when presidential candidates were originally announced, so I have been working hard the past few weeks to make myself an educated voter.

LeRoi's 4-Step Plan to become an Educated Voter:

1) Really LOOK at the candidates.
Donkeys have big ears, which is cool. But, then again, so do elephants. Do I have big ears?

2) Watch the debates.
What a great chance to compare the candidates plans for our country!
Where do they stand? What will their policies do for me?.....
                                                               .....

..... I thought donkeys and elephants were civil creatures...

3) Poll my neighbors and friends and jump on the bandwagon!
Ok, I know, not really an educated tactic, but my other strategies were equally ineffective! So, on my last walk around the neighborhood I simply counted the signs in the front yards and decided to vote for whoever had the most support! One red! One blue! Two red! Two blue! Red! Blue! Red! Blue! Red! Blue!....*sigh*

4) Just Vote!
I'm winging it today people. May the best candidate win.

I couldn't look

And so, here is my official ballot!
They said I could keep it as it was too ambiguous to count!

I thought it was obvious who I voted for!

This is your official call to action!
Go. Vote. Win!

And don't forget to wear your sticker in support of Democracy!

As Promised...

...My venture into THE PUMPKIN PATCH!

And so begins a story in pictures and aside comments from my wonderful day exploring the pumpkin patch with my mommy and favorite only uncle!

Our chariot into the pumpkin patch!

feeling of calm before the storm

Into the pumpkin patch we go!

SO MANY PUMPKINS!!!
Don't mind us, just taking a little taste...you see those teeth?

YUM!!!!

But that's not all!

First, we found our perfect pumpkin!
"THE" Pumpkin

Then we walked ALL THE WAY out of the pumpkin patch, making friends along the way! I couldn't believe how far out we had gone. I was a tired puppy!

In need of a nap

New Friend

Because my mommy was bad and forgot to bring me water,
she talked her way onto the first ride home!
Thank goodness too, I was SO thirsty...

(Take this to heart, don't forget water when you take field trips with your best friend!)
Smooth Talking... ignore the people to the right, not smooth talking.
SO she saved the day and redeemed herself. We even beat out some kids trying to get on the tractor! Seems management puts puppies first, as they very well should!

So I finished the day with a photo shoot with Simon, my wonderful uncle and the photographer of the day.

Snuggle Time!

What an adventure
